Classic New York Trilobite - Arctinurus Boltoni

Here is a true classic North American fossil and one most desirable trilobites. This elegant and large trilobite comes from the famous "Caleb Quarry" near Middleport, NY. The preservation and preparation work on this 4.4 inch specimen is impeccable. Arctinurus don't come up for sale that often, and I've never seen one offered online with this good of shell preservation and prep work.

It's nicely centered on a beautiful squared off piece of matrix and displays very well. It has very minimal shell restoration compared to other Arctinurus specimens (they all have some). This is a true collector piece and could be the centerpiece of any trilobite collection.
