Double Artinurus From Caleb's Quarry - Museum Piece

This is a true museum piece, a double Arctinurus boltoni from the famous Caleb's Quarry near Middleport, NY.

Here is a true classic North American fossil and one most collectable trilobites. This elegant and large trilobite comes from the famous "Caleb Quarry" near Middleport, NY. Very few are preserved and prepared as nice as this specimen has been. This is one of two that I was able to acquire recently, and the other has already been sold.

It's nicely centered on a beautiful squared off piece of matrix and displays very well. It has very minimal shell restoration compared to other Arctinurus specimens (they all have some). This is a true collector piece and could be the centerpiece of any trilobite collection.
