Amazing Preserved Enrolled Phacops Trilobite

This is an extremely well preserved and prepared Phacops trilobite from Jebel Issoumour, Morocco. It is enrolled in a defensive posture and would have been about 2 inches long if outstretched. The matrix around it has been sculpted so that it rests on a free-standing pedestal. Just check out the eye facets on this specimen. They don't get higher quality than this.
