.95" Hoploscaphites Ammonite - Wyoming

This is a small Hoploscaphities sp. ammonite from the Pierre Shale in Weston County, Wyoming. This is a rather unusual location as most of the ammonites from the Pierre Shale are coming out of South Dakota. It's nicely detailed, prepared and the rock has been cut flat so that it stands up nicely on it's own.
