9.5" Ordovician Starfish and Brittle Star Mortality Plate - Morocco

This is a gorgeous, 9.5" wide, Ordovician-aged starfish (Petraster?) and brittle star (Ophiura?) mortality plate, collected from the Tiouririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron. Both sides of this slab of limestone are covered in these fossils.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
