.85" Ordovician Monoplacophoran (Bipulvina) - Missouri
This is a .85" monoplacophoran (Bipulvina sp.) from the Ordovician aged Gasconde Formation in Missouri. The preservation is fairly decent for a cool little specimen. Monoplacophorans are univalved mollusks that bear a resemblance to limpets though are not closely related.
