.81" Fossil Dinosaur (Theropod) Claw - Kem Kem Beds, Morocco
This is a beautifully preserved, .81" long fossil dinosaur (theropod) claw from the Kem Kem Beds of Morocco. Many of the small theropod dinosaurs from the Tegana Formation have yet to be described, primarily due to lack of articulated bone material having been found. This means it is impossible to provide a species or even genus ID to these individual bones.
This claw is remarkably well preserved compared to many of the others I've seen from this formation that are often tumbled and heavily eroded. There is a small amount of stabilization on the back end of the claw. Comes in an acrylic display case.
