8.1" Pleistocene Fossil Deer (Odocoileus) Jaw - Florida
This is a 8.1" long fossil whitetail deer (Odocoileus virginianus) lower jaw (mandible) half from the left side. It was collected from a Pleistocene-aged deposit in Orange County, Florida. The teeth and bone preservation is excellent.
