Here is a beautiful section of petrified cherry wood from the world famous deposits near McDermitt, Oregon. This is some of the prettiest petrified wood out their and this specimen is no exception. It displays fabulous rich wood tones, tree rings and inner cavities. The quality of the polish on this piece is second to none with none of the scuff marks or dull spots seen in lower quality material.
It is an end-cut from the log, so the thickness varies from about 3/8" to just over an inch.
