.72" Archeria Vertebrae - Permian Eal-like Amphibian

This is a vertebrae of Archeria crassidiscus from the Pennsylvanian aged Moran Formation of Texas. Comes in an acrylic display case.

Archeria was an eal-like, embolomerous amphibian that could exceed 5 feet in length, and weighed around 80 lbs. Nearly all of the specimens are the same size suggesting very fast development to early adulthood and the very slow growth.
