7.8 Inch Ammonite (Half) - Crystal Chambers

This is a large cut and polished Cleoniceras ammonite fossil from the Cretaceous of Madagascar. It is just over7.8 inches wide. The chambers are almost all hollow and lined with beautiful calcite crystals. This ammonite has some of the nicest crystal pockets that I've seen on a large ammonite. Simply awe inspiring!
