7.6" Predatory Prionolepis (Viper Fish) - Lebanon
This is a bargain specimen of Prionolepis cataphractus, more commonly known as a viper fish. It comes the Upper Cretaceous Lebonese lagerstätten near Hjoula. It's 7.6" long and has brilliantly colored preservation that contrasts nicely against the rock. There is a repaired crack in the rock running through the center of the fish.
