.61 Inch Wujiajiania n.sp. DOUBLE, McKay Group, BC
This is a double of a currently undescribed species of Wujiajiania from the McKay Group of BC. I hear the the paper describing these and many other new species from this formation is expected to be published by the years end. These trilobites have great detail and are not preserved on calcite nodules like most of the trilobites from this formation. This new species of "Wuji" comes from substantially lower in section than the common Wujiajiania sutherlandi.
Access to the site where this comes from is extremely limited and this specimen was part of a small group of trilobites I was able to acquire in trade earlier this year.
