6.3" Cretaceous Crocodilian Jaw Section - Hell Creek Formation
This is a nicely preserved fossil crocodilian jaw section from the 66 million year old Hell Creek Formation of Harding County, South Dakota. All of the teeth are original, not composites and there are several repaired cracks in the jaw section but no restoration. There are a number of known crocodilians from Hell Creek Formation but the teeth seem to most closely match Thoracosaurus.
