6.2" Plate Of Cuneate Coral (Neozaphrentis) Fossils - Arkansas

This is a 6.2" wide, piece of limestone covered in cuneate coral (Neozaphrentis tenella) fossils from the Elsey Formation of Boone County, Arkansas. They're Mississippian in age, or 325 - 350 million years old. They have been prepared under microscope using air abrasives to reveal all of the surface detail. Some of the coral fossils are in their natural position on the rock while some have been remounted.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
