6.2" Fossil Goniatite Dish with Oval Impression

This is an unusual dish with an oval shaped impression, made out of polished rock containing 400 million year old fossils of Orthoceras (a straight cephalopod). These fossils are mined in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The dish is approximately 7-3/4 inches in diameter.
