6.1" Insect Fossil Cluster- Green River Formation, Utah
This is a 6.1" long, cluster of unidentified insect fossils from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. A number of members of this cluster appear to be beetles, flies and bees. There are also several leaves.
While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
