6 1/2" Tall Free-Standing Petrified Wood Specimen

This is a very aesthetically pleasing free-standing, petrified wood "sculpture". It's a log of 20 million year old petrified wood from McDermitt, Oregon which has been cut diagonally and polished. It's 6 1/2 inches tall, very solid and heavy, weighing about 3 lbs. The inner wood detail is amazing showing all of the growth rings and the exterior looks almost like it's a still living tree, only it's fossilized. Very cool piece.
