.54" Partial Tyrannosaurid Tooth - Montana
This is a partial Tyrannosaurid tooth from the Hell Creek Formation of Montana. The tip is missing, but it has decent enamel and fine inner serrations. The teeth of tyrannosaurs are notoriously hard to tell apart with very minor differences. It's not uncommon for expert on the material look at the exact same tooth and both put a different ID on it. So I'm simply going to label it as Tyrannosaurid. It comes in an acrylic display case.
