.51" Archeria Toe Bone - Permian Eel-like Amphibian

This is a toe bone of Archeria from the Permian aged Texas Red Beds.

Archeria was an eel-like, embolomerous amphibian that could exceed 5 feet in length, and weighed around 80 lbs. Nearly all of the specimens are the same size suggesting very fast development to early adulthood and then very slow growth.
