5.9" Fossil Pecten - Ventura County, California
This is a fossil pecten from the Cenezoic Era, collected in Ventura County, California. It's from a dig conducted in the 1970"s, so little information is known about the specific location or age of sediment. The pecten has both sides, however one has been fairly weathered and/or acid etched. It's quite large, measuring 5.9" wide.
