5.75" Carved Fossil Coral Turtle - Alaska

This is an interesting polished turtle sculpture carved from sedimentary stone with fossil coral (Acropora sp.) throughout, collected in Alaska. This fascinating turtle measures 5.75 inches long and its glossy polish allows for the coral cross sections to be seen in great detail.

There is a small chip at the tip of its head.
