5.6" Fossil Pectin (Chesapecten) - Virginia
This is a large fossil Pectin (Chesapecten) collected from the Yorktown Formation in Virginia. It's partially covered in marine shell fossils and still contains small amounts of the sandstone in which it was found. It's massive at 5.6" inches wide.
