5.5" Polished, Jurassic Petrified Wood (Conifer) - Australia

This is a beautiful, polished piece of Jurassic aged petrified wood from Queensland, Australia. It would be from a tree in the conifer family. The exterior of the log has been naturally polished by water wear. The excellent polishing job on the cut face allows for the very detailed interior wood structure to be seen.
