5.25" Fossil Marine Gastropod (Haustator) Cluster - Gironde, France

This is a large cluster of various Early Miocene-aged fossil invertebrates, most notably spiral-shaped Haustator sp. gastropods and the shell of an unidentified mollusc in the center. They were collected from near Gironde, France. These elegant fossils are still partially embedded in the limestone in which they were found.

This piece comes with an acrylic display stand.
