5.1" Tumidocarcinus Crab Fossil - New Zealand
This is a giant fossil crab of the species Tumidocarcinus giganteus from New Zealand. It's Miocene in age (15-20 million years old) and 5.1 inches wide including the legs. It was found in a very hard concretion that was split open and then professionally prepared so that it looks ready to walk off of the rock. Really an amazing crab fossil.
