5.1" Spiny Selenopeltis Trilobite - Erfoud, Morocco
This is a large, 5.1" long (including spines), spiny odontopleurid trilobite (Selenopeltis buchi). These trilobites are quarried east of Erfoud, Morocco from the Upper Tiouririne Formation. Restoration is fairly minimal on this specimen and can be found near the pygidium and along the anterior portion of the cephalon. This restoration in total makes up approximately 2-3% of the trilobite.
