.48" Rare Meadowtownella Trilobite - Walcott-Rust Quarry, NY
This is a nice specimen of a fairly rare trilobite from the famous Walcott-Rust quarry in New York. It is a detailed and nicely prepared, .48" long Meadowtownella trentonensis. There is also a Ceraurus pleurexanthemus on the plate.
The layers these trilobites come from have been pretty unproductive for a number of years and this is the first decent trilobite of the species I've been able to get in some time.
