.45" Oligocene Echinoid (Oligopygus) Fossil - Florida

This is a 38 million year fossil echinoid of the species Oligopygus phelani, collected from the Crystal River Formation near Yankeetown, Florida. It has been prepped free of the rock that it was found in. The specimen comes with an acrylic display base and mounting putty.
