.42" Raptor (Paronychodon?) Tooth - Hell Creek Formation, Montana
This is a .42" long, raptor tooth from the Hell Creek Formation in Carter County, Montana. It has characteristics of the genus Paronychodon. Though this genus has not be formally described from the Hell Creek Formation, isolated teeth and bone material believed to be from it have been recovered.
The enamel has chipped away entirely from one face of the tooth, however the majority of the enamel remained on the opposite side. Comes in an acrylic case.
