4 Inch Psychopyge Trilobite - Awesome

This is one of the more unusual trilobites in the world, Psychopyge elegans with it's distinctive elongated rostrum. Dozens of hours of preparation work went into this specimen, which has over 50 tiny free standing spines, and beautifully preserved eyes. The long genal spines have been prepared free standing.

The ONLY restoration on this specimen is some touchup of airscribe dings and surface scratches which I did myself, about 1%. The last photos in the sequence show the specimen after it was initially roughed out and during the preparation of the free standing spines.
