4" Anetoceras Ammonoid With Trilobite Head
This is a fine specimen of the Early Devonian ammonoid cephalopod Anetoceras quarried in the Anti-Atlas Region of Morocco. It's 4" wide and has the head of a Phacops trilobite also preserved on the edge of the rock. The detail on the trilobite head is nice enough that you can see the individual eye facets.
The matrix around the ammonoid cephalopod has been nicely sculpted and it displays nicely. It comes with an acrylic display stand.
