4.68" Huntonia Trilobite Oklahoma - Extremely Large

This is an monster, Huntonia huntonensis trilobite from the famous Black Cat Mountain quarry in Clarita, Oklahoma. A good complete one in excess of four inches only comes around every couple of years. This one is 4.68" long with gorgeous, caramel colored shell and great eye facets. This specimen was collected and prepared this past fall by Bob Carroll.

There is no restoration on the trilobite itself, but there has been some work done on the matrix to add some additional rock to the sides of the piece for aesthetic purposes.
