4.5" Fossil Fish Jaw Section in Rock - Asfla, Morocco

This is a 4.5" fish jaw section from Asfla, Goulmima, Morocco. It's still mostly embedded in the rock in which it was found. This piece has undergone some restoration, but makes for an interesting piece. Based upon the location and the identifiable features the most likely candidate is the species, Goulmimichthys arambourgi. This location was discovered in the 1990's and not much is known about the material coming out of the area to properly identify this piece.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
