This is a MASSIVE, 4.5" long tail of a Huntonia trilobite that would have been over a foot long from the Black Cat Mountain Quarry in Oklahoma. It's the largest Huntonia tail that I've ever seen and the trilobite would have been an absolute monster. There is also a segment, presumably from the same trilobite as well has many other trilobite fragments on the 8.8x6.1" slab of limestone.

The Black Cat Mountain Quarry produces a limited number of arguably the most beautiful trilobites in the United States each year. Each specimen is meticulously prepared by quarry owner Bob Carroll under microscope to expose the smallest details. This is a very time consuming process, taking many hours, but yields spectacular results.
