4.3" Fossil Nautilus From France - Very Colorful

This is a very colorful fossil Nautilus (Cenoceras) from France. It's been polished and has a very beautiful coloration. It is 4 .3 inches tall and rests on a free-standing block of sculpted, matrix, with the entire piece being 7 inches tall. These nautilus fossils are fairly rare and are Lower Jurassic in age, Toarcian Stage or approximately 174-183 million years old.
