4.2" Long Petrified Wood (Arucaria) Log - Amarillo, Texas

This is a 4.2" long section of Upper Triassic petrified wood from a rather unusual location. It was collected from the Dockum Formation, south of Amarillo Texas. One end has been polished and the polished face is 3.1x2.3" This comes from a large collection of petrified wood I recently bought which includes some rare types from unusual locations.
