.36" Fossil Bird Egg Shell - France
This is a rare find! This is a .36" beautifully preserved fossil bird egg shell from Montaigu-le-Blin in central France. It is preserved on an unusual conglomerate matrix: it consists of nearly spherical grains made of what looks like chalcedony in radiating bands.
