.35" Valved Seed Pod Fossil - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a beautifully preserved .35" long fossil valved seed pod from the Green River Formation in Uintah County, Utah. Preservation of this specimen is excellent and shows the fossil in great detail.

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse selection of flora fossils.
