.32" Serrated Triassic Fossil Tooth - Chine Formation, Arizona
This is a .32" long fossil tooth collected from the Late Triassic Chinle Formation in St. Johns, Arizona. Both edges of this gorgeous tooth are serrated, with a denticle (serration) density of ~50 per 5mm. Unfortunately there isn't much material published on triassic teeth, so identifying a tooth such as this is more guess work than anything.
Comes with an acrylic display case.
