3" Ordovician Starfish (Petraster?) Fossil - Morocco

This is a 3" wide, Ordovician aged starfish (Petraster?) from the Tiouririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron. There are some repairs through the rock and some gap fill restoration where the rock broke through the starfish.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
