3.3" Ordovician Cephalopod (Isorthoceras) Fossil - Iowa

This is a 3.3" long cephalopod fossil of the species Isorthoceras sociale collected from the Maquoketa Formation in Graf, Iowa. The Maquoketa Formation is Ordovician in age, or approximately 445 million years old.

There is a repaired crack through the fossil. It comes with an acrylic display stand.
