3.3" Mississippian Cuneate Coral (Neozaphrentis) Fossils - Arkansas
These are four cuneate coral (Neozaphrentis tenella) fossils from the Elsey Formation of Boone County, Arkansas. They're Mississippian in age, or 325 - 350 million years old. They have been prepared under microscope using air abrasives to reveal all of the surface detail. Some of the coral specimens may have been remounted to the limestone.
