3.3" Fossil Nautilus (Aturia) - Crystal Filled

This is a stunning, 3.3" wide, Eocene aged nautilus (Aturia sp) fossil collected near Boujdour in Southwest Morocco. The fossil is hollow and filled with calcite crystals creating a fossil geode. The exterior surface was been polished and the base of the rock has been cut flat so that it stands up nicely on a flat surface.
