3 3/4 Lb. Red Agatized Dinosaur Bone - Lapidary Potential

This is a very solid chunk of rough, agatized dinosaur bone from the Morrison Formation. It shows wonderful cell structure and lots of red hues which are coveted for lapidary work. It would probably look beautiful if cut and polished and given it's size and shape could probably produce quite a few slices or cabs.

I picked this piece up on the hillside below a quarry we were working this spring outside of Dinosaur Colorado.
