3.1" Anetoceras Ammonoid With Small Trilobite Head
This is a fine specimen of the Early Devonian ammonoid cephalopod Anetoceras quarried in the Anti-Atlas Region of Morocco. It's 3.1" wide and nicely preserved with the head of three small Phacops trilobites near it. The detail is good enough that you can see the dozens of eye facets preserved in the head of the trilobite.
The matrix around the ammonoid cephalopod has been nicely sculpted and it displays nicely.
