3" Partial Fossil Sauropod Vertebra - Morrison Formation
This is a 3.0", partial, fossil sauropod vertebrae from the Morrison Formation in Wyoming. It is the body (centrum) of the vertebra. The vertebral arch and processes are missing. It has a repaired crack.
There are a number of sauropods known from the Morrison Formation. The most common were Camarasaurs, Diplodocids and Apatosaurs, but there are at least a dozen other genera.
