2" Trilobite (Metacanthina maderensis) - Issoumour, Morocco
This is a usual, type of Metacanthina trilobite from Issoumour, Morocco. It is found in a layer below the common Metacanthina issoumourensis and appears very similar to Metacanthina maderensis.
The specimen would be about 2" long if outstretched and is very nicely prepared. There is about 2-3% shell restoration along repaired cracks and on top of the axis.
