2.7" Fossil Flower Cluster - Green River Formation, Wyoming
This is a well preserved 2.7" wide fossil catkin (flower cluster) from the Green River Formation. It was collected from Warfield quarry near Kemmerer, Wyoming. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.
