Ordovician Crinoid Fossils - Kaid Rami, Morocco
These are nicely preserved Ordovician aged crinoid fossils from the Kataoua formation of Morocco. The largest crinoid is 2.6" long, nicely detailed and shares a 5.6x3.6" piece of limestone rock with at least 3 additional, smaller crinoids. There are various other marine fossils on this limestone, however non are identifiable as preserved. The bright orange coloration is due to the oxidization of iron pyrite.
It comes with an acrylic display stand.
